Courtney is involved in her community as a Governor-appointed member of the Colorado Small Business Council and is a certified Small Business Development Center Consultant. Courtney has been 2016 North Metro Small Business Development Center MVP, and a Denver Business Journal “Outstanding Woman” nominee. Courtney has been published in national magazines including being featured in Inc. Magazine. She is a Colorado native and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Management. A survey by the World Economic Forum revealed that less than 50 percent of employees trust their companies. PricewaterhouseCoopers found 55 percent of surveyed global CEOs were concerned about the lack of trust within their organizations. And at the 2017 Women in the World Conference, the audience was told they should not trust HR when it comes to sexual harassment. Trust is the foundation of any company and the lack of it decreases profits and employee performance. In order to be effective, HR professionals must build trust within the organization. This presentation will identify five keys to building an atmosphere of trust and teamwork within your organization.
