Stacy Pederson is a funny motivational speaker who's "almost died a bunch". In a perfect storm of unfortunate circumstances, life handed her some heartbreaking blows that led her to reinvent her life. It started when her first husband was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Over the next several years she experienced a failed marriage, lost her home, lost her job, experienced single parenting, lost her health, and she was financially ruined. Then in July of 2011, Stacy stepped on a rusty nail. This innocent miss-step resulted in several hospital stays, near death experiences, and surgeries with lifelong repercussions. From these struggles Stacy realized a deep understanding of the universal need we all have for hope, love, joy, and laughter. While it took almost dying to teach Stacy how to truly live, and tragedy to teach her comedy, it's that authenticity that comes shining through in her presentations.
