The Future of Work is Workers: Proactively Shaping Your Workforce
There’s a lot of evidence to suggest that our one-track education system overvalues the college degree and undervalues skills when we’re recruiting early-career talent. But a seismic shift is coming, driven by DEI initiatives, an aging workforce and automation that will increase the value of essential soft skills in a generation of workers that have grown up behind screens.
Learn how modern youth apprenticeship is providing the framework for employers to mold the Gen Z workforce of the future. The webinar examines how one company, Pinnacol Assurance, is proactively addressing the future of workers through a model of apprenticeship that is common in innovative economies such as Switzerland and Germany, but is only recently taking hold in the United States.
The objective of the webinar is for attendees to better understand why a youth apprenticeship program could be a valuable addition to a talent-acquisition/-retention strategy and why it could be important to the future of work.
