SESSION DESCRIPTION:

Upcycle, Engage, Retain: Smart Strategies to Support Employee Career Growth

Do your employees have a career path? Are your managers seeking a way to help their team grow? Have you identified the next step in your own career? Career counselor and corporate career development consultant Katy Piotrowski, M.Ed., LPC will introduce you to a self-directed employee career development methodology designed to make career growth accessible and motivating. You'll learn how to help your team members identify career paths that inspire them to take their professional development to the next level.

According to Gallup poll results, more than 70% of employees are not engaged at work. To reduce turn-over, increase employee satisfaction, and increase the financial bottom line, managers and human resource leaders must respond to team-member desires to grow their careers in meaningful ways. As an award-winning career counselor, and creator of 12-step self-directed career-counseling methodology used with several best places to work in Colorado including New Belgium Brewing, University of Colorado Health, and the City of Fort Collins, dynamic public speaker and career columnist Katy Piotrowski M.Ed., LPC will introduce you to a proven process that results in improved engagement and enhanced performance, showing employees how to achieve their full career potential. This methodology also equips human resources with a clear roadmap to support the diverse populations they serve: millennials, baby boomers, high performers, and others with unique career goals and needs.

Engage. Educate. Empower.
