2019 Workforce Readiness Grant
Mile High SHRM was founded in 1938 to meet the needs of human resource professionals in the metropolitan Denver area. From that time to now, our nearly 1,100 annual members have influenced business decision-making locally, nationally and internationally. These Denver-area HR professionals come together through Mile High SHRM to develop and support the HR profession, provide awareness of best practices and improve skill readiness in the business community. The Mile High SHRM Community Engagement Committee operates as a bridge between community agencies and Mile High SHRM to create greater collective impact through assisting agencies with workforce related missions including: economic development, workforce education, workforce initiatives, self-sufficiency, and poverty reduction.
Each year, the Mile High SHRM Community Engagement Committee selects one local non-profit or state funded university to receive a Workforce Grant of up to $2500. We also invite the organization to partner with our members to work together for one year. We encourage you to apply for the 2019 Workforce Grant. The application guidelines are below.
The Mile High SHRM Workforce Grant will provide the following for a 12 month period beginning January 1, 2019 and ending December 31, 2019.
