2023 Workforce Readiness Grant RFA

2023 Workforce Readiness Grant

Background

Mile High SHRM was founded in 1938 to meet the needs of human resource professionals in the metropolitan Denver area. From that time to now, our 1000+ annual members have influenced business decision-making locally, nationally and internationally. These Denver-area HR professionals come together through Mile High SHRM to develop and support the HR profession, provide awareness of best practices and improve skill readiness in the business community. The Mile High SHRM Community Engagement Committee operates as a bridge between community agencies and Mile High SHRM to create greater collective impact through assisting agencies with workforce related missions including: economic development, workforce education, workforce initiatives, self-sufficiency, and poverty reduction.

Each year, the Mile High SHRM Workforce Readiness Committee selects one local non-profit or state funded university to receive a Workforce Grant of up to $3,500. We also invite the organization to partner with our members to work together for one year. We encourage you to apply for the 2023 Workforce Grant. The application guidelines are below.
