Stacey BledsoeStacey Bledsoe's work as a human resources leader is shaped by her 23+ years as a leader and human resources executive in both fast-paced operational and corporate environments. Stacey spent her early career in human resource operations in generalist roles. Driven to expand her leadership experience, Stacey joined PCL Construction as a Human Resources and Professional Development Manager for the heavy civil division and was quickly promoted to a national role as the Director of HR Services. As a senior executive, Stacey prioritized balancing human resource outcomes and developing the human resource leaders in her organization. Stacey currently leads the HR function as director of people & employee experience at Galloway & Company. Alison Jeske, SHRM-CP, SPHRAlison is the Director of People & Organization for Camp Bow Wow, a premier dog day care and boarding service franchise. She specializes in implementing effective human resources programs and processes. Alison moved to Denver in 2015 and joined Mile High SHRM to network with local HR professionals. Her involvement led to volunteering on the Emerging Leaders Committee, becoming Education Co-Director, and now President of the association. She believes in the benefits of the association and is honored to lead and serve on the Board of Directors. Alison enjoys escaping to the mountains to camp, fish, hike or ATV with her husband and two yellow labs, Kane and Knox.

Karen PiperKaren is the HR Manager at Tipping Point Solutions, a Native American 8(a) Disadvantaged and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that is an emerging leader in training, media, and event services. She is responsible for the HR management for Tipping Point, but also joint venture partner Chippewa Government Solutions. As an HR Leader, Karen works diligently to develop trust by connecting and engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Karen is passionate about the full lifecycle of an employee and partnering with Senior Leaders to achieve strategic objectives. Volunteerism is of importance to Karen with her work at Mile High SHRM and JWILL Pink Village, which brings hope and comfort to those newly diagnosed with breast cancer. In her free time, Karen can be found at her mountain property with her husband or doting over their adorable grandson, Levi.

Cynthia TauerTreasurer Cynthia Tauer is an accomplished human resources executive known for designing and executing initiatives that streamline operations, enhance business performance, and foster organizational growth. As a visionary leader, she excels in aligning talent management, employee engagement, and cultural development with business objectives. Cynthia’s expertise in change management and workforce development has enabled her to deliver impactful results, including increased employee engagement, significant cost savings, and improved operational efficiencies across multiple organizations. Throughout her career, Cynthia has led cultural transformations that increased employer approval ratings, optimized recruitment strategies to avoid substantial costs, and implemented performance management systems that boosted business performance. Prior to her successful HR leadership, Cynthia spent 15 years as a licensed investment professional with major financial institutions such as Janus, Charles Schwab, and Denver Investment Advisors. She holds a BA in Finance from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO.

Michelle FoleyAfter a couple of decades leading Human Resources teams in manufacturing, retail and non-profit, Michelle jumped into the world of Workforce Development managing employment programs for Jefferson, Clear Creek, and Gilpin Counties in Colorado. For almost nine years her focus is developing an equitable employment ecosystem supporting industry, education, government, and non-profit partnerships to transform how we recruit and develop diverse talent to create a strong and sustainable local economy. She leads a team of innovative employment program leaders that connect unemployed and underrepresented populations to the education and training needed to be successful in career pathways leading to living wages. Michelle Foley earned her BA in Journalism/Corporate Communications from Elon University and worked and lived in North Carolina before moving to Colorado in 2013 with her family.

Dayanne IzmirianDayanne worked in Higher Education as an administrator and faculty before moving to her first Human Resources role at Regis University. Dayanne is currently the Culture & Engagement Specialist at StarRez, Inc, a global SaaS company. In her current role, she specializes in Onboarding, Engagement and Operations. Dayanne's skills include coaching, leadership development and training, restorative practice and program planning and implementation. Dayanne values service to the profession and constant learning, which led to her involvement in MSHRM.

She has a passion for creating a positive and inclusive work culture that fosters engagement, collaboration, and excellence. She holds a Master of Science in Organization Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in HR Management from Regis University, as well as the PHR and SHRM-SCP certifications. She is also a SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty credential holder, which demonstrates her expertise in attracting and retaining top talent.

Michael GreenleeMichael has been involved with Mile High SHRM since 2017 when he was the President of CU Denver SHRM. He started doing work through Emerging Leaders and then on the Membership Committee. The last few years, Michael has overseen the speaker RFP and Liaison process ushering in top contributors to the conference. Michael is the Market Lead with a recruiting firm that has risen to be an Inc5000 Fastest Growing Company and oversees several key relationships and ushering in new business. Through an HR services lens, he has gotten strong experience around talent strategy and solving retention and engagement challenges.

Stephanie HaleStephanie Michaels is the Vice President of People & Culture at Modivcare, where she leads Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, and the HR Business Partner function for Shared Services. With over a decade of experience in human resources, she brings a strong track record in executive coaching, organizational strategy, and building scalable, people-first practices. Stephanie is known for her ability to connect with leaders, navigate complex challenges, and create inclusive, high-performing cultures. She holds a Master’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and HR Management and is SPHR-certified. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys exploring Colorado with her husband and their puppy, Stormi. She is proud to serve on the Mile High SHRM Board to help advance the HR profession locally.

Mikayla MorrisonMikayla is the Senior Director of Human Relations & Hiring for the National Western Stock Show, where she oversees all HR and intern-related functions (including the recruitment and hiring of 400+ seasonal employees each year in preparation for the Best 16 Days in January!). In her role, Mikayla prioritizes serving as a resource for staff and senior management alike, ensuring everyone within the organization is set up for success. Mikayla holds a degree in Clinical & Counseling Psychology from Colorado State University (Go Rams!), as well as credentials from HRCI as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM as a Certified Practitioner (SHRM-CP). Mikayla joined Mile High SHRM in 2023 and almost immediately began volunteering with the Membership Experience & Recruiting Committee. In her new role as the Director of Volunteer Experience, Mikayla looks forward to focusing on the volunteers that make Mile High SHRM so great and ensure that they, too, are set up for success and are subject to many enjoyable and rewarding opportunities. Outside of work, Mikayla enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and adorable pup Lilly, as well as reading and attending concerts.

Emily TichenorEmily Tichenor helps employers of all sizes and in a variety of industries stay compliant with ever-changing federal and state employment laws, including those regarding wage and hour, equal employment opportunity, leaves and restrictive covenants. Emily partners with employers to develop policies and procedures and provide day-to-day guidance tailored to the unique needs of each employer, its workforce and workplace culture. Emily also drafts agreements, including employment agreements, bonus agreements, and separation agreements, to help protect employers and reduce the risk of a dispute with an employee. She further supports employers during transactions by conducting due diligence to help spot potential pitfalls and take steps to ensure a smooth employment transition post-closing. Emily strives to help employers avoid litigation and other disputes, but if disputes arise, Emily represents employers through the dispute process. She has successfully represented organizations of all sizes before state and federal courts and administrative agencies and has assisted employers in obtaining favorable decisions before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Emily understands the challenges of keeping up to date with employment laws, and she regularly presents and writes on employment topics to help employers stay abreast of changes.

Carol DoddCarol is a Vice President, Employee Benefits Consultant for HUB International Insurance Services. Carol has 25+ years experience in the insurance industry working for consultant firms, two major insurance companies, hospital providers and a large fortune 100 employer in the human resource benefits division. Carol's area of expertise includes both self-funded and fully funded insurance plans. She is well versed in strategic planning, cost containment, account management, underwriting and renewal negotiations, carrier relationship management, benefit design development, medical plan auditing, financial reporting and HR system implementations.

Elijah RawlsElijah has been involved with Mile High SHRM since 2021, mainly as a corporate sponsor and partner. Coming from a background of marketing and political engagement, his current position at the CollegeInvest Employer Program allows him to engage with HR professionals on an ongoing basis.
