General Members have professional employment and a primary career interest in the field of HR management, as either generalists or specialists. This also includes recent college graduates and those pursuing career changes to HR. General Members have the right to vote and hold elective office in the Chapter.
Current membership in SHRM is not required but is encouraged.
Professional Members have the above qualifications and meet one or more of the following criteria:
Professional members may vote and hold elective office in the Chapter. Current membership in SHRM is required.
Resource Provider Members work for companies that sell products, services or consulting to HR professionals, and/or may have job titles or primary functions not directly in HR. Major classifications include HR consultants, HR service providers, and attorneys. Resource Provider Members have voting rights and may hold elective office in the Chapter.
Membership in SHRM is encouraged.
Individuals applying for Student Membership should be currently enrolled on a full-time basis at an established university program pursuing an HR-related degree and do not meet the requirements for General, Professional or Resource Provider Membership.
Dues for Student Membership are $35 annually. Call us at (303) 465-3522 to join as a student member.
Mile High SHRM offers a 10 percent discount to active duty military personnel and honorably discharged veterans.

Transition Membership Rate:
Mile High SHRM offers annual Professional and General Membership dues of $82.50 for those in transition who want to continue their professional development and stay connected to metro Denver's leading HR insiders. Through the Transition Membership, new, renewing and returning members can take advantage of all Mile High SHRM programs and connections. Mile High SHRM members are encouraged to maintain membership in the Society for Human Resource Management.
