SESSION DESCRIPTION

President Trump has implemented a broad range of regulatory and immigration reforms that have impacted employers nationwide.  Federal agencies, such as the DOL, NLRB, and USCIS, have already reversed course on numerous Obama-era rules and initiatives. Attorney Roger Tsai will discuss practical immigration law developments that employers should expect under the Trump administration including: President Trump’s new "Buy American, Hire American" executive order; the latest updates on I-9s, E-Verify, and SS No-Match Letters; responding to Request for Further Evidence on H-1B visas; Dreamer (DACA) work permits at the Supreme Court; Beyond the Executive Order on Immigration and the real-time impact on business visas.

Roger Tsai leads Holland & Hart's immigration practice, which helps Fortune 100 tech companies, healthcare institutions, and universities find positive solutions to their various immigration needs. As a former member of the Board of Governors for the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Roger testified on landmark state immigration laws. He regularly speaks at conferences hosted by the AILA, the American Bar Association, the Colorado State Bar, and SHRM.
