Emily Gavel

I’m a Minnesota girl living her best life in Colorado! I moved to Colorado in 2012 to attend college at UCCS and then CU Boulder. I studied Psychology and originally wanted to be a behavioral counselor but quickly realized it wasn’t for me. I love being in HR because it’s truly psychology in the workplace.

I work for Harris Kocher Smith Engineering and am a department of one for 150 engineers, surveyors, and utility technicians. I am responsible for recruiting, employee programs, training and development, employee relations, and all the other catch all HR functions for the company. My passion is to find opportunities that allow employees and the company to both succeed so that we push ourselves to the next level together.

Arianna Robinson

I have experience in a variety of functions including HR, sales, business development, and leadership roles. Undeniably a people person, I enjoy giving back and being of service to others. I firmly believe in growing a business through elevating its human capital and strive to improve the lives of others by providing a stimulating and uplifting work environment. I have a BA in Clinical-Behavioral Neuroscience with an emphasis on scientific analysis and have partially completed a MS in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Primarily self-taught in HR, I have acquired most of my industry knowledge through real experience on the small business scale. I am currently working as a General Manager at Home Instead in Castle Rock and have found senior care to be incredibly rewarding. On a more personal note, I enjoy cooking, exercise, and being outdoors. My snapshot wouldn’t be complete without mentioning an appreciation for craft wine & beer, beauty & fashion, and any type of travel.
