In Colorado, for every open job there is actually -1 job seeker to fill that job. Think about that: there are fewer job seekers than there are jobs in Colorado! And even though Colorado has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country, employers have still added 750,000 jobs in the past 12 months! For recruiters and HR professionals, it is a daunting task to identify professionals that, well, don't exist. But in fact, your next employee does exist. They are called 'passive' job seekers who just happen to be working somewhere else right now. Currently employed, passive job seekers are hard to find.
