Communication That Connects: Writing to Build Relationships and Get Results
Session Description
As an HR professional, you write a lot for work. And you want your writing to connect with your audience and get work done. That kind of writing is more about the reader: how they read, where they look for information, how they feel about that information, and what they do after reading your message.
To ensure your writing gets the results you want, this session will help you think about your writing from the perspective of the person who reads your message—which isn’t what we’re taught in school. When we craft messages that are easy for other people to read, they respond the way we want and take the actions we expect.
This interactive session will give you five simple tricks to ensure that your messages at work connect with your readers so they are more likely to do what you want them to do.
